Kendall Schmidt (voiceover): Last week, our semi-finalists had a battle in the ballroom to make their way to the finals. Ethan Ferguson stepped in as guest judge, and with his help, all of our couples received their highest scores of the season. Sadly, it was our funny man, Steve Carell, who did not get to the finals (clip of elimination).

Brittany Brannon (voiceover): But tonight (clips of training), IT’S THE FINALS!!! Sandra Bullock, Cher, and Tom Hanks have all proved to us why they should be here. But with four different dances each this week, who will shine as the real winners and take home that sparkly trophy on Saturday? Time to find out! Live! This is the Finals of Dancing with the Stars!

The opening sequence starts. Hank is first shown picking up Edyta. Sandra then does an elegant spin with Derek. Steve jokes around with Chelsie. Cher does a fierce pose while Maksim looks on. Zooey and Damian do a sexy, demure pose. Zac and Peta do a large jump. Tina fools around with Louis. Tom casually holds Kym. Hugh gives Karina a close look. Gaga does a vampire-esque pose on Dmitry. Logan does a secret handshake with Jeanine. Lil' Wayne holds Nicole under his legs. Lee does a ballroom pose with Corky. Katy and Mark spin around, jumping. Rihanna and Val go close to each others mouths. Arnold almost uses Cheryl as a weight. Cody does a dynamic, fun pose with Julianne. Curtis performs a New Yorker with Anna. Oprah giggles around with Alec. Reese and Tony close in a smooth pose. The DWTS logo is shown.

Kendall: Hello and welcome to THE FINALS of Dancing with the Stars! I'm Kendall Schmidt!
Brittany: And I'm Brittany Brannon! Tonight our stars are faced with the ultimate challenge as they must re-do a low scoring dance from earlier on this season, while still having to choose a favorite Ballroom and Latin dance to do again.
Kendall: And if that’s not enough, all three of our finalists will have to do a Freestyle routine to any song or style of dance they choose.
Brittany: We are in for one crazy night! And now, for the last time this season, let’s welcome our finalists!

The stars walk down the stairs in this order: Tom Hanks, Cher, and Sandra Bullock.

Kendall: There are your DWTSGame Season 4 finalists! Now, starting off our finals is the woman who started this season as an underdog who landed in our first bottom-two for our females. She has since turned into a marvelous dancer. Can she win you over with her dances tonight? Its singer and actress Cher and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy!

In Cher's VT, Valerie and Carrie Ann are assigned to coach Cher on her re-do performance. They choose the Cha-Cha-Cha because they would like to see how much she has improved from her first dance. Cher is excited to see what an improvement she’s made!

Voiceover: Dancing the Cha-Cha-Cha, Cher and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Cher is in a small red outfit, Maksim is in a cut open red dress shirt. The pair dances to Michelle Branch’s “Game Of Love”. Once finished they dance to Kendall.

Kendall: I totally saw an improvement there! Now, before I go to the judges, let's introduce welcome back Judge Valerie. You sure did make it back just in time!
Valerie: Tell me about it.
Kendall: Let's go to our judges now.
Carrie Ann: See, Cher. When you get me as your coach, WONDERFUL things can happen! It was ten times better than your first dance. You improved on your footwork, your arms are moving in the right places, your hips are working. It was so much better!
Len: Sadly, I had to Google your Cha-Cha to remember it, and what I saw wasn’t as special as what you just did! I agree, I can see such an improvement.
Bruno: Cher, I will really miss you next season. You are the sexiest thing over 50 I have ever seen (cheers)! The dance was so great! I felt it had a little ‘blank’ section in the middle, but you overcame it very well.
Valerie: Boy, Carrie Ann and I can really put a great Cha-Cha-Cha together! I am so glad I was here to see you dance for the last time this season. I have loved your transformation into a great dancer. It’s the thing I will miss the most!
Kendall: Great comments! Over you go to Kendall.

The pair runs to Brittany.

Brittany: Great job, guys! Now, Cher, what has been your favorite part of this season?
Cher: I think my favorite part of the show has been getting to know every single person on this set. They literally make the show what it is and I’m glad to have shared that with them.
Brittany: Great answer! Let's get the scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Carrie Ann Inaba: 10
Len Goodman: 9
Bruno Tonioli: 10
Valerie Hashburntar: 10

Total: 39

Brittany: Great first dance of the night, and a 14 point increase from the first time you danced it! Back to Kendall.

Kendall: Thanks Brittany! Next up tonight is the highest scorer of the season. From humble beginnings in Week 2, this actress has since received at least one 10 paddle for every dance and four perfect scoring dances! Can she keep her streak alive tonight? Its actress Sandra Bullock and her partner Derek Hough!

In Sandra's VT, emotions run high as she realizes this is her last week to dance with Derek. She really has to go out with a bang! Len is assigned to coach her on her re-do dance. He chooses to have Sandra re-do her Samba, just to see if she can improve over her last Samba (which had a wardrobe malfunction). As a precaution, Len and Sandra design a very sturdy top for her.

Voiceover: Dancing the Samba, Sandra Bullock and her partner, Derek Hough.

Sandra is in a small orange Samba dress (that won’t break this time), Derek is in a cut open orange dress shirt with short sleeves. The pair dances to Franz Ferdinand’s “No You Girls”. Once finished they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: That was really exciting! Although, I think it would’ve been better had history repeated itself (winks to Sandra; audience laughs)! Let's get the comments.
Carrie Ann: Wow! I loved your first Samba, but this one was EVEN BETTER! I loved it. It was very precise yet fun and funky at the same time. Great job!
Len: I thought it was the same (audience boos). I’m sorry, but I believe that there was nothing better in your dance this time around. Sorry!
Bruno: Sandra! Where was the bounce I know you have? It was lacking this time around (audience boos)! It wasn’t the perfect dance, dear. Sorry, as well.
Valerie: I don’t know what’s up with Len and Bruno, but I loved it. I thought it had that certain flare that you add to your dances. I have no clue why they don’t like it.
Kendall: Me either, Val! Over you go to Brittany.

The pair runs to Brittany.

Brittany: Sandra, what has been your favorite part of the season?
Sandra: Hands down, being able to dance with Derek Hough and help him to the finals! It’s a huge accomplishment to me!
Brittany: Same here! Let's get the scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Carrie Ann Inaba: 10
Len Goodman: 9
Bruno Tonioli: 9
Valerie Hashburntar: 10

Total: 38

Brittany: I very good score for round 1! Back to you, Kendall.

Kendall: Thanks Brittany. Dancing lastly for the redo round is the man who has blown us away with his amazing dance talents since Week 1. No one ever expected him to do so well. Can he actually do so well as to take home the Mirrorball trophy? Let’s watch and see! Its actor Tom Hanks and his partner Kym Johnson!

In Tom's VT, he is a little saddened that this is the last week, but wants to give Kym the ultimate goodbye present… the Mirrorball trophy. Bruno is assigned to help him with his redo, which was chosen to be the Paso Doble. Bruno wants to see that if Tom gets different (more Paso-like) music for his dance, if he will get a better score. Tom is under a lot of pressure this week!

Voiceover: Dancing the Paso Doble, Tom Hanks and his partner, Kym Johnson.

Tom is in a black shirt with vest and cape, Kym is in a long-sleeved black Paso dress. The pair dances to Johann Bach's “Toccata”. Once finished they go to Kendall.

Kendall: I think I’m gonna have nightmares now (audience laughs)! Let's get the comments.
Carrie Ann: That was absolutely, 100%, WAY better than your first Paso! You can actually be taken seriously with this song/dance. I was totally drawn in and convinced that you would actually kill Kym!
Kym: No! Never (audience laughs as Tom pretends to choke her)!
Len: The real question is: Did you improve over the first time that this was performed? The answer: (makes face) Well… (audience boos) Just kidding (audience cheers)! It had such fire, passion, and attack. With the right music, you can make this dance flawless. Nothing to fault, for me!
Bruno: I’m faced with chagrin (audience boos)! I know I’m the one that coached you, but what we worked on in training was actually a little better than what I just saw. It was still top class, but I can’t call it perfect.
Valerie: Amazing transformation from the first time. I wasn’t here to score the first one, but I assure you, this one was a million times better! Great job!
Kendall: Great comments! Over you go to Brittany.

The pair walks to Brittany.

Brittany: Well Tom, what has been your favorite part of the season?
Tom: Honestly… The sequins. Where would we all be if there weren’t any sequins on the show! Nowhere is where (audience laughs)!
Brittany: (laughing) Let's get the scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Carrie Ann Inaba: 10

Valerie Hashburntar: 10

Brittany: Awesome! Now, to recap our current leaderboard, Cher and Tom are tied for first place with 39, and it’s Sandra who falls to the bottom with 38. It really isn’t that big of a gap, but it is that big of a deal (audience laughs)! Back to Kendall for Round 2.

Kendall: Such a huge gap between our first and last placing couples! Geez! Now begins round two, where our stars shall choose their favorite Latin dance of the season to do again right now! First up: Cher and Maksim!

In Cher's VT, she is really having a tough time deciding which Latin dance to do again. She narrows it down to the Salsa, Paso Doble, or Rumba. She thinks it should be the Paso, but at the advice of Maksim, they choose the Rumba!

Voiceover: Dancing the Rumba, Cher and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Cher is in her short silver outfit. Maksim is wearing his grey dress shirt. They dance to Cher’s “If I Could Turn Back Time”. Once finished they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: Even greater a second time! Let's get comments.
Carrie Ann: Cher, this is what I will miss the most about you. You can be a bitch when needed, but when we ask you to be sweet, or serious, or tender, you can always fit the part! This was the best I have ever seen you dance! Ever!
Len: I agree! You are so strong and powerful yet, you have such vulnerability in this dance. I can’t say it wasn’t perfect because if I did I’d be lying!
Bruno: If I could turn back time… I would start this season all over again and love each of your dances even more. You have been the complete package. You’ve proven age is nothing but a number!
Valerie: Cher, say what you want about hearing your own songs. This was perfection, no matter how weird it may have been for you.
Kendall: Well done guys, over you go to Brittany.

The pair runs to Brittany.

Brittany: Cher, what will you take away from the DWTSGame?
Cher: Seriously, I have a newfound passion and love for dance now. I am also going to take away the amount of hard work that it has taken to make it this far. I think you need to be seriously committed to do this well!
Brittany: Totally agree! Let's get the scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Brittany: Yay! The first perfect score of the night! Back to Kendall.

Kendall: Thanks Brittany! Now dancing again is Sandra and Derek!

In Sandra’s VT, Derek thinks they should play it safe and redo either the Rumba or the Jive. Sandra says “Hell No” and wants to do the Cha-Cha-Cha (her complete favorite dance) so she can make an improvement.

Voiceover: Dancing the Cha-Cha-Cha, Sandra Bullock and her partner, Derek Hough.

Sandra is dressed as a business woman again. She takes it off to reveal her blue number while Derek goes topless in the midst of the dance again. The pair dances to Fountain of Wayne's “Stacy’s Mom”. Once finished they go to Kendall.

Kendall: That may just be the funniest dance of the season! Comments?
Carrie Ann: Sandra… How can anyone ever fault you for a dance? I know I can’t. This was simply amazing. I am so proud that you chose this dance to do again! Thank you!
Len: You really do sell the term “cougar” (audience is hysterical)! Really, you are giving your all tonight and it shows!
Bruno: Sandra! You have no idea how hard it will be to say goodbye to a star as committed to dancing as much as you. Your dances never seize to amaze me! Fantastic dance! Thank you!
Valerie: First off, thank you for redoing my favorite dance of the season (audience cheers)! Second off, congratulations on being the one to beat this season! With dances like this, you give no one a chance to beat you! You are the real deal!
Kendall: Amazing! Over you go.

The pair runs to Brittany.

Brittany: Sandra, what will you take away from the DWTSGame?
Sandra: Uh, a backache (audience laughs)! No, seriously, this show has really let me forget about the turmoil of my life. I am so glad I did this show! It has been the best thing I’ve ever done… And I’ve won an Oscar!
Brittany: Don’t brag about it (Sandra laughs)! Let's get scores.

Kendall: Well, we’re already at the last dance of Round 2! The couple is: Tom and Kym!

In Tom’s VT, he wants to do his Cha-Cha-Cha again. Kym wants to redo the Jive for a better score, but agrees that they should do the Cha-Cha.

Voiceover: Dancing the Cha-Cha-Cha, Tom Hanks and his partner, Kym Johnson.

Tom is in a white dress shirt with brown slacks and suspenders. Kym is in a black dress. The pair dances to the Blues Brothers’ “Soul Man”. Once finished they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: Groovy, man! Let's get the comments.
Carrie Ann: Not much of an improvement (audience boos). This time was just as amazing as the first time (audience cheers)!
Len: I loved this dance. It has that great “authentic Cha-Cha” feel to it. I couldn’t ask for more!
Bruno: I agree. You wouldn’t think that this type of Cha-Cha would be very good, but you’d be dead wrong if Tom Hanks dances to it!
Valerie: You know I love this dance. Not much changes this time (audience laughs)!
Kendall: Over you go to Brittany!

The pair runs to Brittany.

Brittany: Well done guys! Tom, what will you take away from the DWTSGame?
Tom: A backache, like Sandra (audience laughs) and the amazing teachings of Kym Johnson. Thanks to this little Australian, I now know how to dance like Fred Astaire!
Brittany: I’m sure Rita Wilson will love to have you around the house when this is over! Let's get scores.

Brittany: I’m so proud of you, Tom! Back to Kendall for my favorite round of the season!

Kendall: Thank you, Brittany! Now, for this round, our finalists all get the chance to perform FREESTYLE routines! Everything is completely up to them; No holds barred! First up with their freestyle are Cher and Maksim!

In Cher’s VT, she wants to do something hip and extremely fun for her freestyle. She chooses the funnest song and costume she can get and creates many complicated lifts with Maksim. They are very confident with their dance.

Voiceover: Dancing Freestyle, Cher and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Cher is in small gold dress, Maksim is in a cut open gold dress shirt. The pair dances to “Raise Your Glass” by P!nk. They perform many fun lifts and have the time of their lives. Once finished they dance to Kendall.

Kendall: What an amazing way to start the freestyle round! Judges?
Carrie Ann: That is what I like to see! You had so much fun and I can’t praise you more for it! The dance flowed perfectly and your lifts were amazing for you! Congratulations (audience screams)!
Len: Sadly, it needed a bit more to be perfect. It felt a little too much Cha-Cha and not enough Freestyle. Sorry.
Bruno: It was amazing fun, Cher. But Len is right. It was a little too “Cha-Cha-ish” for a Freestyle. Either way, it was still great fun!
Valerie: You know, I love disagreeing with the boys! It was the perfect Freestyle I have been hoping for all season! Thank you!
Kendall: Amazing comments! Over you go to Brittany.

The pair runs to Brittany.

Brittany: That was better than my freestyle! Now, Cher, how hard will it be saying goodbye to dancing with Maksim on Saturday night?
Cher: Oh, you have no idea! This exotic little man has taught me so much and I’m forever grateful. But it’s not the end, it’s the beginning of a beautiful friendship!
Brittany: Aww! I’m going to miss you so much (hugs Cher). Let's hurry up and get the scores!

Brittany: Boo! That deserved five more 10’s! Sorry, Cher. Back to Kendall.

Kendall: Alright! Freestyle #2 goes to Sandra and Derek!

In Sandra’s VT, she reveals that she has had the perfect song for her freestyle for weeks now. Derek incorporates some country, hip-hop, pop, and amazing lifts into the dance.

Voiceover: Dancing Freestyle, Sandra Bullock and her partner, Derek Hough!

Sandra is in a small cowgirl vest and skirt with cowboy hat. Derek is in a cowboy outfit with no hat. The pair dances to “Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy” by Big & Rich. They do some amazing, even dangerous, lifts. Sandra is in a bustier by the end of the dance. Once finished they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: Holy *bleep*! I am so amazed! Great job! Let's get the comments.
Carrie Ann: Here’s just another reason to love you! You are willing to do anything, like rip your top off and do some dangerous lifts! It was simply a Freestyle that I will never forget! Words cannot describe how awesome that was!
Len: I didn’t enjoy the gimmick with you ripping your shirt off, but I’ll let it slide since that Freestyle was the best I’ve ever seen (audience cheers)!
Bruno: Sandra, since Week 2, I have been anxiously waiting for your Freestyle. Thank you for giving me such a great dance in return! It was amazing. I think you both just have a knack for entertaining the hell out of every dance!
Valerie: I have no clue how, but you just made me LOVE country music! Along with some oober complicated lifts and some fun with your costume, you really put together the best Freestyle ever!
Kendall: If I had a paddle, I’d give you an 11! Over you go to Brittany.

The pair walks to Brittany.

Brittany: Sandra, that was so much better than my freestyle. You and Derek are just the complete deal! What will you miss the most about dancing with him?

Kendall: If you can believe it, we are at the last dance of our finals! The final dance goes to Team TomKat with their freestyle!

In Tom’s VT, he wants to do something tender, as he knows that those types of freestyles have won before. Kym does some lifts that everyone is amazed to see Tom pull off.

Voiceover: Dancing Freestyle, Tom Hanks and his partner, Kym Johnson!

Tom is in a white dress shirt with bow-tie. Kym is in a small pink outfit. The pair dances to “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper. Tom is able to pull off all of Kym’s complicated lifts with ease. Once finished they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: Great job, TomKat! Let's get the comments.
Carrie Ann: Tom, you were right to do a slow freestyle. I’d rather you show off your strengths rather than do something flashy and not of your strengths. With that being said: You did amazing! Great job!
Len: I really enjoyed it as well (audience cheers)! It was the best “slow” Freestyle I’ve seen yet. Great job!
Bruno: Tom, I hate to say this (audience boos)! It seemed a little stiff. I wish it would’ve been more fluent. This is the only problem I had.
Valerie: Bruno! Ugh! It was such an amazing Freestyle. It exhibited the love that you two have as partners. I thought it had a huge meaning behind it. It was amazing! Loved it!
Kendall: Go get your scores; I’m sure they’re good!

The pair walks to Brittany.

Brittany: Tom, what will you miss the most about dancing with Kym?
Tom: I have honestly grown to love this amazing young woman. I think I’ll weep having to say goodbye to her. I can’t thank her enough for all she’s done for me!
Brittany: Aww! Stay strong, Tom! Let's get the scores.
