Kendall Schmidt (voiceover): Last week… (clips of Week 10 shown) Our stars battled it out with two competitive dances! Steve and Tina both surprised the judges, Cher lead the pack, and four separate dances in a row won perfect scores (clips of scoring). But sadly, our beloved funny lady, Tina Fey, was sent home (clip of Tina's elimination).

Brittany Brannon (voiceover): (training clips shown) Now, all our couples will two more dances which they have not yet learned. With two guest judges for the next two weeks, will our stars still do as well as they have been, or will they dig themselves a premature grave? Live! This is Dancing with the Stars!

The opening sequence starts. Hank is first shown picking up Edyta. Sandra then does an elegant spin with Derek. Steve jokes around with Chelsie. Cher does a fierce pose while Maksim looks on. Zooey and Damian do a sexy, demure pose. Zac and Peta do a large jump. Tina fools around with Louis. Tom casually holds Kym. Hugh gives Karina a close look. Gaga does a vampire-esque pose on Dmitry. Logan does a secret handshake with Jeanine. Lil' Wayne holds Nicole under his legs. Lee does a ballroom pose with Corky. Katy and Mark spin around, jumping. Rihanna and Val go close to each others mouths. Arnold almost uses Cheryl as a weight. Cody does a dynamic, fun pose with Julianne. Curtis performs a New Yorker with Anna. Oprah giggles around with Alec. Reese and Tony close in a smooth pose. The DWTSGame logo is shown.

Brittany and Kendall run onto the stage.

Kendall: Hello and welcome to Dancing with the Stars! I'm Kendall Schmidt.
Brittany: And I'm Brittany Brannon! We have such a jam-packed show tonight, and we don’t want to waste any time! So, here are tonight’s stars…

The stars walk down the stairs in this order:  Steve Carell, Tom Hanks, Cher, Katy Perry, and Sandra Bullock.

Kendall: Now, tonight, our stars will only have 40 minutes to prepare for their Latin dances!
Brittany: That’s right! We are having ourselves our first “Instant Dance Round” of the season! I think this will provide some pretty interesting scores.
Kendall: And also, we can reveal that our first guest judge is… internationally known choreographer, Melanie LaPatin, from So You Think You Can Dance (shot of Melanie, audience cheers). Melanie, how does it feel to be a guest judge?
Melanie: It is a different experience, for sure. At Fox, they don’t have these cool paddles (audience laughs).
Kendall: Be careful with those, they are very powerful! Anyways, our first star tonight is the man who delivered an awkward Rumba, but a paranoid Tango. Will we see more sides of him tonight? Its actor Steve Carell and his partner Chelsie Hightower.

Steve is so upset that Tina has been eliminated, especially since she was eliminated in favor of Carell, himself. Chelsie comforts him and they work on their Waltz and some basic Samba moves. Steve is dedicating his Waltz to his pal, Tina!

Voiceover: Dancing the Waltz, Steve Carell and his partner, Chelsie Hightower.

Steve is in a suit with blue tie, Chelsie is in a blue dress. The pair dances to contestant Uncle Kracker’s “Smile”. Once finished they dance to Kendall.

Kendall: That was really sweet you guys! Judges?
Carrie Ann: Steve, that was amazing. For such a funny man, you can really do such tender things. I loved it!
Len: Well, it wasn’t perfect (boos). But, without a doubt, those were the best lines I have seen you dance all season.
Bruno: It was sweet, but sweet isn’t really what I was looking for. I wanted romance. Those are two different things which transfer into two different styles. It didn’t work, for me.
Melanie: Good timing and footwork but watch your top line.
Kendall: Over you go to Brittany.

The pair runs to Brittany

Brittany: Well done, you guys! Scores?

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Carrie Ann Inaba: 10 (cheers)
Len Goodman: 9
Bruno Tonioli: 8
Melanie LaPatin: 8

Total: 35

Brittany: That's a good score! Now, Steve, here is your song for your Samba! (hands Steve an envelope) What is it?
Steve: Alright! “Sir Duke” – Stevie Wonder!
Brittany: No time to waste, go complete your dance! Back to Kendall!

Kendall: Next up is this season’s leading lady who last week danced a perfect Tango and a dirty Salsa. Let’s see how the judges describe her this time. Its actress Sandra Bullock and her partner Derek Hough!

Sandra admits that the song for her Waltz brings back some sad memories of her ex-husband. She makes a personal goal to power through the dance. Derek thinks he has another perfect Rumba for his dance with Sandra.

Voiceover: Dancing the Waltz, Sandra Bullock and her partner, Derek Hough.

Sandra is a yellow dress, Derek is in a suit with yellow tie. The pair dances to Barbra Streisand's “The Way We Were”. Once finished they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: Wow. That was actually really moving. Let’s see what the judges thought.
Carrie Ann: It makes me think of when you go through a real tough break-up, and how to overcome it, like your story, Sandra. It was flawless, and it was remarkable.
Len: I am not going to lie. It was great! It wasn’t your best dance (audience boos), but I still think it was up there. Work more on your spins next time. It seemed like there were a lot, and after a while you got dizzy.
Bruno: Sandra, with dances like that, you make me think you are Ginger Rogers. Lovely dance from start to finish!
Melanie: Sandra, you are a beautiful dancer. It was an excellent performance, and you had great feel for this dance.
Kendall: Okay! Away you go to Brittany.

The pair walks to Brittany.

Brittany: That was amazing, you guys. I think that song was meant for you, Sandra. Great job! Scores?

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Carrie Ann Inaba: 10 (cheers)
Len Goodman: 9
Bruno Tonioli: 10 (cheers)
Melanie LaPatin: 9

Total: 38

Brittany: What! No 40? Ugh! Now, Sandra, here is your song for your Rumba! (hands Sandra an envelope) What is it?
Sandra:A Moment Like This” – Kelly Clarkson.
Brittany: Aww! I can’t wait! Go get started! Back to Kendall!

Kendall: Next up tonight the woman who landed in first place last week when she danced a “sex-infested” Paso Doble. This week: a Quickstep. What on earth are we in store for? Its singer and actress Cher and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy!

Cher hates that Tina was sent home last week, and is scared she is next! She and Maksim prepare a fun Quickstep inspired by the movie Grease (a dead giveaway to their song). Cher is also getting down and dirty for the Salsa.

Voiceover: Dancing the Quickstep, Cher and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Cher and Maksim are both dressed as Greasers. They dance to “You’re The One That I Want” from Grease. Once finished they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: (laughs) Good job, Team Chmer! Judges?
Carrie Ann: You two kept together pretty well, very synchronized. It seemed to fall apart a little halfway through. Keep trying!
Len: It was fast, it was fun, and it was very original (cheers), but sadly, it wasn’t very precise. I am going to have to mark you down just a tad.
Bruno: Forget these two! I loved it! So creative and fun (audience cheers)!
Melanie: Beautiful frame and footwork but I was worried for a moment there with your timing. Lower through your knees to absorb the time in the music.
Kendall: Interesting! Over you go to Brittany.

The pair runs to Brittany.

Brittany: Good job, guys. Let's get the scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Len Goodman: 9
Bruno Tonioli: 10 (cheers)
Melanie LaPatin: 8

Total: 36

Brittany: Well… It’s a really good score! Now, Cher, here is your song for your Salsa! (hands Cher an envelope) What is it?
Cher:El Cumbanchero” – Angel Melendez.
Brittany: Ooh, sexy! Go finish up! Back to Kendall!

Kendall: Now, next up is the girl who’s Cha-Cha tribute to Amy Winehouse won her top honors, a perfect score and the encore. Can she top the leaderboard again tonight? Its singer Katy Perry and her partner Mark Ballas

Katy is so glad that her Cha-Cha was so well received. She hopes Amy Winehouse liked it. This week, she has a very tender Viennese Waltz to worry about. Her and Mark do all sorts of complicated moves for their Rumba training.

Voiceover: Dancing the Viennese Waltz, Katy Perry and her partner, Mark Ballas.

Katy is in a light pink dress, Mark is in a suit with pink tie. The pair dances to “She’s Always A Woman To Me” by Billy Joel. Once finished, they dance to Kendall.

Kendall: Go, K-Mark! It was awesome! Judges?
Carrie Ann: The dance flowed so well! You had amazingly light footwork and you glided across the floor so gracefully. Nothing wrong about it, as far as I’m concerned (audience cheers).
Len: I loved parts of it. You see, it works better when you tone it down for your dances. It worked very well! Just work on your footwork; when you had to spin while on one foot, I saw you wobble a little.
Bruno: (pretends to cry) Katy, what a marvelous performance! It was so simplistic and subdued that it actually made me love it. That is usually not the case!
Melanie:Fantastic flow! It was quite entertaining to watch. Your head position was somewhat unnatural… But other then that great job(cheers)!
Kendall: Great comments! Over you go for your scores.

The pair runs to Brittany.

Brittany: Katy, you are such a great dancer. Really loved it! Scores, please!

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Carrie Ann Inaba: 10 (cheers)
Len Goodman: 9
Bruno Tonioli: 10 (cheers)
Melanie LaPatin: 9

Total: 38

Brittany: I can’t believe it! Rigged! Now, Katy, here is your song for your Rumba! (hands Katy an envelope) What is it?
Katy:White Flag” – Dido. Ooh!
Brittany: No way! Well go finish up! Back to Kendall!

Kendall: Our final star for the round is the man that got a perfect score for his romantic Waltz last week and also pleased with his hip Jive. Does he have what it takes to come in first tonight? Time to see! Its actor Tom Hanks and his partner Kym Johnson.

Tom hopes his Viennese Waltz goes over the same as his Waltz last week. He is the oldest man left… he could go home if he slips up! Kym teaches him some fun Paso moves, but Tom doesn’t have it completely nailed.

Voiceover: Dancing the Viennese Waltz, Tom Hanks and his partner, Kym Johnson.

Tom is in a suit with teal tie, Kym is in a white dress. The pair dances a Waltz to “You’re Still The One” by Shania Twain. Once finished they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: Good stuff, T-Hanks! Let's get the comments.
Carrie Ann: Tom… (clicks tongue, audience boos) Hold on! I was going to say that it wasn’t as good as last week. It had such good technicality, but you weren’t too “into it” this week. Sorry!
Len: I am sorry, but I need to agree. The dance wasn’t as magnificent as last week. It was good in the sense that you and Kym were totally in synch. I’m not saying it was bad… but it wasn’t perfect (boos)
Bruno: I really liked it (cheers)! Sure, it was a little under-whelming at points, but you can always work on that!
Melanie: That was just fantastic! You looked like you have been dancing for years. Very natural and smooth, beautiful framework (audience cheers loudly)!
Kendall: Over you go to Brittany!

The pair Waltz to Brittany.

Brittany: Aww! I loved it! Let’s hope these scores aren’t bad!

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Len Goodman: 9
Bruno Tonioli: 9
Melanie LaPatin: 10 (cheers)

Total: 37

Brittany: Boo! Not right! More 10's next time! Well Tom, here is your song for your Paso! (hands Tom an envelope) What is it?
Tom:Sweet Dreams Are Made Of These” – Eurythmic.
Kym: (grinning) Oh my gosh! Haha!
Brittany: Oh boy! You better go finish up! Back to Kendall for our first Instant Dance!

Kendall: Okay, just a recap… Sandra and Katy are at the top with 38 out of 40, and in the bottom is Steve with 35. Now starts round two, the Instant Dance Round. Now, before we start, to give Tom some time to prepare, let’s see what each of our stars’ family and friends have to say about their journey on the DWTSGame. First up: Steve and Chelsie!

In Steve’s VT, a brief overview of his rise to fame and childhood are played. His wife, Nancy, says she is so surprised he has lasted so long on a dancing show. His children are all so proud of him. Rainn Wilson and Jenna Fischer from The Office both say that the entire cast is really rooting for him.

Voiceover: Dancing the Samba, Steve Carell and his partner, Chelsie Hightower.

Steve is in a green dress shirt, Chelsie is in a small green outfit. They dance to “Sir Duke” by Stevie Wonder. Once finished they go to Kendall. Rainn, Jenna, John, Mindy, Ellie, and Angela (from the Office) are all in the audience chanting “Go Steve”!

Kendall: Oh my god! Where have you guys been all season? Team CarellTower, right (Steve’s friend cheer)? Judges?
Carrie Ann: I honestly think it was better than the last one! Thank god you kept your shirt on (audience cheers/laughs)!
Len: I hate to be the negative one, but your technicality lacks in your Latin dances (boos). It was fun, but having fun won’t always get you a 10.
Bruno: Surprisingly… this time you had musicality! It was better than that one you did two weeks ago! Good job.
Melanie: Not an easy dance to make look good, but you did (audience cheers)! Just keep the weight on the inside edge of your feet so your walking isn’t so awkward.
Kendall: Okay, over you go to Brittany.

The pair walks to Brittany.

Brittany: Sir Steve, honestly, great job! I loved that little Office cheering section out there (Steve’s friends cheer from audience) Haha! Scores?

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Len Goodman: 9
Bruno Tonioli: 9
Melanie LaPatin: 8 (boos)

Total: 35

Brittany: Amazing! Awesome job for a dance you only had 40 minutes to prepare! Next dance, Kendall?

Kendall: Well, Brittany… The next people to do their Instant Dance are Sandra and Derek! Take a look at how Sandra came to be the best female contestant of the season!

In Sandra’s VT, a brief overview of her rise to fame and childhood are played. Her close friend, Nicole Kidman, says that Sandra is the true package, and is possibly the best woman dancer ever on the show. Sandra’s other personal friend, Ryan Reynolds, is in awe of how well Sandra does each week. He says that she has come such a long way from her 2010 ordeal and he is so proud of her.

Voiceover: Dancing the Rumba, Sandra Bullock and her partner, Derek Hough.

Sandra is in a small white dress, Derek is in a white dress shirt. They dance to “A Moment Like This” by Kelly Clarkson. Once finished they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: Sandy, that was so powerful. Judges?
Carrie Ann: Nicole Kidman sure knows how to say it. Sandra Bullock, you are definitely the best woman to ever step foot on our floor! That dance was just… “Oh my god” amazing (audience goes wild)!
Len: Sandra, you make any dance seem effortless. It was such a great performance. You had amazing tricks, marvelous footwork, and spot-on technique. In other words, it was perfect (audience cheers)!
Bruno: I hate to be a copycat, but… you honestly did spectacular with the Rumba. It may very well be the best dance of the season (cheers)!
Melanie: Very sensual, great musicality, I was impressed. Congratulations (cheers)!
Kendall: I’m not betting this time… I’m guessing that your scores’ll be pretty great! Go to Brittany.

The pair runs to Brittany.

Brittany: Sandra, I’m a little jealous! You’re a better dancer than I was!
Sandra: Oh, modest much!
Brittany: Here are your scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Carrie Ann Inaba: 10 (cheers)
Len Goodman: 10 (cheers)
Bruno Tonioli: 10 (cheers)
Melanie LaPatin: 10 (cheers)

Total: 40 (cheers)

Brittany: No way! Sandra, we both got a 40 for our Rumba! Yay (Sandra cheers)! Over to Kendall for Couple #3!

Kendall: Thanks, Brittany! Next up with a Salsa are Cher and Maksim! Let’s get a word from some of her friends first!

In Cher’s VT, a brief overview of her rise to fame and childhood are played. Her son, Chaz Bono (a current DWTS contestant) says that his mother is a much better dancer than he is, and he doesn’t know how. We also hear from Bette Midler and Wayne Newton, both agreeing that they knew Cher would be the most outrageous contestant ever.

Voiceover: Dancing the Salsa, Cher and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Cher is in a small gold dress, Maksim is in a gold dress shirt. The pair dances to “El Cumbanchero” by Angel Melendez. Once finished they shimmy over to Kendall.

Kendall: Ouch! Damn, that was hot! Judges?
Carrie Ann: You know what; I think this was probably your most favorite dance, right (Cher nods)? It shows. You had so much fun, and surprisingly, you know how to shake your stuff! Great job (audience cheers)!
Len: Growl, Cher (audience is hysterical)! You brought us all in and let us linger as you romped around the stage! It was actually very good and very precise for a Salsa. Commendable!
Bruno: Cher, keep dancing like that and I will have an early heart attack (audience laughs)! So fun, so sexy, so raunchy; that was a Salsa to remember!
Melanie: Well done; good use of arm styling. I felt that one was fun for you!
Kendall: See, this is what happens when you give the judges candy (audience laughs)! Go over to Brittany.

The pair walks to Brittany.

Brittany: Okay, let's get the scores!

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Len Goodman: 9 (boos)
Bruno Tonioli: 9 (boos)
Melanie LaPatin: 9

Total: 36

Brittany: Wow, totally thought Len and Bruno were going to give you 10’s! Darn! Back to Kendall!

Kendall: Next up are Katy and Mark with a Rumba! Let’s watch and see how she got to where she is.

In Katy’s VT, a brief overview of her rise to fame and childhood are played. Her husband, Russell Brand, says that Katy is dancing better on the show than in special locations he likes. Katy’s friend, Snoop Dogg, says that he wasn’t surprised Katy has made it this far. He thinks she can win!

Voiceover: Dancing the Rumba, Katy Perry and her partner, Mark Ballas.

Katy is in a small white dress, Mark is in a cut open white dress shirt. The pair dances to “White Flag” by Dido. They start the dance with Katy waving a large white flag around for a few seconds. Once finished they go to Kendall.

Kendall: Okay, you guys! Good job! Judges?
Carrie Ann: I thought it was really good. I thought the romance of the dance was lost with the use of the flag. I know it’s the song title, but it seemed like a little much (audience boos).
Len: I liked it as well, but I am strictly against the use of props such as flags… or cages… they really draw away from the actual performance. With the flag gone, it would’ve been perfect. The chemistry wasn’t bad at all, though!
Bruno: What is the matter with you two? That dance was hot, hot, hot (audience cheers)! Great chemistry, lovely tricks, and complicated steps; I loved it.
Melanie: That was a good and grounded Rumba! Great chemistry between you two; It was pleasing to the eye. Keep it up!
Kendall: Good comments! Over you go to Brittany.

The couple runs to Brittany

Brittany: Katy, don’t wave that white flag anymore! No one wants you to surrender! Let’s get your scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Len Goodman: 9
Bruno Tonioli: 10 (cheers)
Melanie LaPatin: 9

Total: 37

Brittany: God, a lot of these dances are better than their scores! Oh well! Back to Kendall for the final time tonight!

Kendall: Thanks Brittany, our final couple tonight with a Paso Doble is Tom and Kym! Let’s see how TomKat came to be.

In Tom’s VT, a brief overview of his rise to fame and childhood are played. His wife, Rita Wilson, says that she is awestruck by Tom’s dancing. She can’t wait to slow dance with him when this is all over. His most notable co-star, Meg Ryan (a former DWTSGame quarterfinalist), says that Tom is so much fun to watch. He sure keeps everyone on the look-out, as you never know what to expect with him.

Voiceover: Dancing the Paso Doble, Tom Hanks and his partner, Kym Johnson.

Tom is in a crimson dress shirt and has a Paso cape with him, Kym is in a black outfit. The pair dance to “Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This” by the Eurythmics. Once finished they dance to Kendall.

Kendall: Well done! Comments?
Carrie Ann: You always try your best! It wasn’t as good as hoped, but I really liked it (cheers/boos mix).
Len: It was awkward (audience boos). It tried to be robotic, for obvious reasons, and it came off as too robotic. Sadly, this dance, and this song, just weren’t your fit.
Bruno: Sadly, Len just said exactly how I feel. It was serious, but not the best. I’m sorry (audience boos)!
Melanie: Good partnering skills and lots of energy! You stayed in character throughout (cheers)!
Kendall: Okay, over you go to Brittany.

The pair runs to Brittany.

Brittany: I’m so sorry tonight has been so rough on you guys. Let’s get the scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Len Goodman: 8 (boos)
Bruno Tonioli: 8 (boos)
Melanie LaPatin: 8 (boos)

Total: 33

Brittany: Oh my god! No! Ugh! Well… let's recap tonight's dances.

All dances are recapped with voting numbers.

Now all couples and hosts are on stage.

Kendall: Tonight has been a real leaderboard changer. Let's see where our couples ended up.

Leaderboard
1. Sandra & Derek: 78
2. Katy & Mark: 75
3. Cher & Maksim: 72
5. Steve & Chelsie: 70
5. Tom & Kym: 70

Kendall: So, after our couples have danced twice… Sandra and Derek have finally reclaimed the top with 78 out of 80.
Brittany: And sadly, Steve and Chelsie and Tom and Kym are tied for last place with 70 out of 80. I can’t imagine how upsetting it will be when we see one of these fine couples go home on Saturday.
Kendall: And on Saturday, we have three things going on. 1: Lady Antebellum sings for us.
Brittany: 2: DanceCenter premiers with Daunte Culpepper, Richard Petty, and our very own judge Len Goodman.
Kendall: Oh, and #3: The cast of season 5 is announced, along with the three winners of the guest judge contest!
Brittany: We sure have a lot going on. Make sure to tune in! Thank you to Melanie LaPatin for stopping by our little game, and we can’t wait to have you back (audience cheers)! I'm Brittany Brannon.
Kendall: And I'm Kendall Schmidt. Good night and thanks for watching!
