Hank's Journey
Going into the season, Hank was considering himself as a dark horse. After the bitter end to his wife, Kendra Wilkinson's dancing journey, he was sure history would repeat itself with him.
In Week 1, Hank and Edyta danced a Salsa to "De Todo Un Poco" by Michael Lloyd. To everyones surprise (including Hank, himself) the dance was a huge hit, landing Hank at the top of the leaderboard by the end of the night, with 30 out of 40 points total. Hank and Edyta were also honored with the first encore performance for their dance this week.
During Week 3, Hank and Edyta danced a Tango to "Separate Ways" by Journey. The dance scored greatly with the judges, and scored 35 points, landing Hank and Edyta in first place for the second time in a row, tied this time with Tom Hanks.
In Week 4, Hank and Edyta danced a Rumba to "You've Got A Friend" by James Taylor. Kendra Wilkinson, Hank's wife and former DWTS contestant, came by to help out with sex appeal. The dance was great, and scored two 10's, scoring 37 points overall, but didn't come in first place with the judges, sadly breaking Hank's streak of first place placements. He tied for fourth place with Tom Hanks and Zac Efron.
During Week 5, Hank ditched Edyta to dance a Quickstep to "I'll Be There For You", by the Remembrandts with Rihanna, as part of the Partner Ditch Week. Reigning champion Jennifer Aniston guest judges the dance and gave it a 10. They also danced a team dance Jive to "The Middle" by Jimmy Eats World. This time it was scored by Adam Levine, who gave the dance a 9. Hank scored a total of 70 out of 80 for the night.
For Week 6, Hank and Edyta danced a Paso Doble to "Beethoven's 5th" by Ludwig Von Beethoven. The dance scored a 10 from guest judge Max Gao and a 36 total, landing Hank and Edyta in a 5 way tie for fifth place.
In Week 7, Hank and Edyta danced a Waltz to "Dark Waltz" by Hayley Westenra. The judges loved the dance and awarded it the second perfect 40 of the season. They also danced in a Jitterbug Marathon to "In The Mood" by Glenn Miller. They were the fifth couple voted out and were awarded an extra 5 points, giving them a total of 45 out of 50 for the night.
For Week 8, Hank and Edyta danced a Jive to "Brand New Girlfriend" by Steve Holy. Hank started out by dancing with wife Kendra Wilkinson, then halfway through, dancing with Edyta. The judges didn't favor the dance. Len said he had hit his peak. They scored a 34 for technique and a 34 for performance for a total of 68 out of 80. Hank was upset when he found himself in the bottom-two this week, only to be saved by the elimination of Reese Witherspoon.
During Week 9, Hank and Edyta danced a "2 in 1", a Waltz and a Jive, for only 1 set of scores. Hank ripped his shirt off for the Jive, but alas, the judges continued to lose faith in him. Len Goodman told him that the performance was sort of a "last dance" kind. The dance scored 33. Hank was deeply upset when he and Edyta landed in the bottom-two again this week. He was sadly, shockingly, and surprisingly, sent home this week. This meant that his wife, Kendra, had beaten him by one placement (She had finished in 6th, he in 7th).
