Sandra Bullock
Sandra Annette Bullock (born July 26, 1964) is an American actress and producer who rose to fame in the 1990s, after roles in successful films such as Speed and While You Were Sleeping. She has since established her career with films such as Miss Congeniality, Two Weeks Notice, and Crash, the third of which received critical acclaim. In 2007, she was ranked as the 14th richest female celebrity with an estimated fortune of $85 million. In 2009, Bullock starred in the most financially successful films of her career, The Proposal and The Blind Side. Bullock was awarded a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role, and the Academy Award for Best Actress, for her role as Leigh Anne Tuohy in The Blind Side.
Derek Hough
Derek Hough (born May 17, 1985) is an American dancer, choreographer, musician and actor. A world champion in Latin American Dance, Hough has appeared since September 2007 (Seasons 5 though 11) on the hit U.S. television series Dancing with the Stars, where he is a three-time champion (with Nicole Scherzinger, Brooke Burke, and Jennifer Grey), two-time semi-finalist (with Jennie Garth and Joanna Krupa) and a Quarter-Finalist with Lil' Kim. Hough has earned three Creative Arts Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Choreography (2009 and 2010) for his work on the show. Prior to joining Dancing with the Stars, Hough starred as Ren in the 2006 original cast production of Footloose: The Musical at the Novelo Theatre in London's West End, as well as on the 2006 U.K. national tour. Hough's West End performance earned him a nomination as The Stuart Phillips London Newcomer of the Year in the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers' Choice Awards. Hough made his Broadway debut on January 8, 2010, starring with Kym Johnson and Mary Murphy in Burn the Floor for the final four performances of the show's Broadway run. A founding member of the Ballas Hough Band (formerly Almost Amy), Hough shares lead vocals, plays guitar and has several songwriting credits on the band's self-titled debut CD, released by Hollywood Records in March 2009.

Bullock surprised many by signing up. Viewers were still not sure if she had overcome the events which lead to her divorcing her husband in early 2010. In an interview, Sandra stated that she was "ready to get back out there!"

The dance was awarded 32 out of 40, landing Sandra and Derek in second place on the judges leaderboard for the night. Sandra and Derek were later honored with the encore performance for their Cha-Cha-Cha during the results show.
During Week 3, Sandra and Derek danced a Quickstep to "Find My Way" by the Gabe Dixon Band (the song which opens Bullock's film, The Proposal). The dance scored fair with the judges, and scored 32 points, landing Sandra and Derek in fourth place, tied with Rihanna and Lady Gaga.
Week 4 saw Sandra and Derek accomplish something no other couple has ever done in DWTSGame history. Sandra and Derek danced a Viennese Waltz to "Every Day" by Rascal Flatts. The dance was very emotional and brought judge Carrie Ann Inaba to tears. Needless to say, the dance scored a perfect 40, the earliest perfect score (Weekwise and dancewise) to ever be achieved by a couple on the DWTSGame. She, of course, came in first place for the first time this season. There was no surprise when Sandra and Derek were asked to dance it again, their second encore of the season.
During Week 5, Sandra ditched Derek to dance a Viennese Waltz to "When I Look At You", by Miley Cyrus, with Tom Hanks, as part of the Partner Ditch Week. Season 27 finalist Jessica Alba guest judged the dance and gave it a 10. They also danced a team dance Salsa to "Show Me How You Burlesque" by Christina Aguilera. This time it was scored by Kamie Crawford, who gave the dance a 9. Sandra scored a total of 74 out of 80 for the night.
For Week 6, Sandra and Derek danced an Argentine Tango to "Bonboncito" by Armando Guerrico. The dance scored a 10 from guest judge Max Gao and a 39 total, landing Sandra and Derek in first place for the thrid time this season.

They were the eighth couple voted out and were awarded an extra 8 points, giving them a total of 46 out of 50 for the night.

They scored a 38 for technique and a 37 for performance (the only instance, for the night, in which a dance had more technique than performance) for a total of 75 out of 80.

For Week 11, Sandra and Derek danced a Waltz to "The Way We Were" by Barbra Streisand. The dance got really good comments, including a good review from guest judge Melanie LaPatin, and a score of 38. They also danced an instant Rumba to "A Moment Like This" by Kelly Clarkson. This time, the dance got a perfect 40. Their combined score for the night was 78, landing Sandra and Derek back in first place for the first time since Week 6.

Sandra and Derek were pushed through to the finals later that week, making Sandra (age 47) the youngest finalist of the season.

They then did their favorite Latin dance of the season, the Cha-Cha-Cha to "Stacy's Mom" by Fountain of Wayne. The judge's praised the fun energy of the dance and gave it a 40. Finally, they danced a Freestyle to "Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy" by Big & Rich. The judges called it the best freestyle ever and awarded it a perfect 40. Sandra got 118 out of 120 for the night.
